Beginning July 1, 2021, requests to prior authorize services as required by Mississippi’s State and School Employees’ Health Insurance Plan, must be submitted to Kepro. You may fax, call or submit requests through Kepro’s Atrezzo provider web portal. For a list of services that require prior authorization, please see knowyourbenefits.dfa.ms.gov/publications/. Kepro’s provider portal allows your staff to submit prior authorization requests at their convenience 24 hours/day; 7 days a week – to include holidays. Our portal allows you to communicate directly with the utilization review staff, attach medical records, check the status of each request, and receive immediate determination notification at the time of completion – all in the same record.
Training sessions are scheduled to instruct your staff on how to submit prior authorization requests through the portal. These sessions include information on assigning one person from your organization to be the administrator, or owner, of your portal account. This administrator will have the ability to add or delete user accounts as needed for your organization.
To register as the account administrator of a facility, clinic, or doctor’s office, the designated individual will need their NPI and BCBS ID. To initiate your registration, please visit Kepro’s Atrezzo Provider Portal at https://portal.kepro.com. Provider training materials can be found here.
